Birmingham City University – Virtual Paid Internship, Virtual Industry Insight Event & SME Business Support

During this unprecedented time Birmingham City University would like to support you, our regional business community.

Virtual Paid Micro-Project Internships – July 2020 

BCU is offering Medilink’s SME businesses an opportunity for a paid internship during July. This would involve a recent 2020 graduates working towards a brief of a small project for up to 20 hours per week over four weeks.

Key information:

  • SME projects are to be up to 80 hours in duration ideally over 4 weeks (therefore around 20 hours per week)
  • All projects to be completed by the end of July. No payments can be made after 31st July 2020
  • Graduates will receive £100 per week as a bursary dependent upon the business agreeing that they are happy with the progress made towards project target
  • There should be an expectation that the business and graduate meet weekly to discuss aims and objectives with additional contact built-in as required
  • Available to those business signed up to the Higher Level Skills Match project

Virtual Industry Insight Event

Due to the current situation BCU has been looking at ways to connect recent graduates to your sector during the lockdown. BCU would very much appreciate it if you were able to virtually speak directly to our Biomedical Sciences cohort by providing approximately 30-45 minutes of your time, providing an insight into your sector.
