Discover how quantum technologies are inspiring the next generation

A new generation of quantum technologies is enabling and driving a different range of previously impossible devices and systems to solve currently intractable problems. As a result, we are seeing greater opportunities for making tech products faster and smaller, with the potential to provide enhanced levels of accuracy and precision.


The Industrial Strategy Challenge Fund recently announced an investment pot of up to £33million, to support projects that will help speed up the commercialisation of these quantum technologies a few months ago. Earlier this month, a new funding competition was launched that will award up to £30million to industry-led projects aimed at addressing technical barriers to the commercial or industrial exploitation of quantum technologies in the UK.


As the lead partner for the UK National Quantum Technology Hub for Sensors and Metrology, the University of Birmingham is uniquely positioned to educate, inform and share details of its exciting technological developments, research and investigations that is attracting interest from industry.


This free workshop invites you to come and learn more about the major developments taking place in quantum technologies and explore how your business and industry could benefit. Our Centre for Innovation in Advanced Measurement in Manufacturing will then inform you of the pre-funded assistance, available, to help you realise your future aspirations by providing access to specialist expertise, world-class facilities and a wide network of potential collaborators.
